Thoughtful planning allows for a relaxed, stress-free experience—so you can be fully present in the magic of your celebration.

Q. Should we hire a full service pro planner?

Absolutely, yes! With over a decade of experience in this industry, I can confidently say that hiring a talented and experienced professional wedding planner is not only essential for you—it’s also a requirement for working with me. (Please note that full-service planners are different from venue coordinators and day-of coordinators, and that friends or family members do not count as professional planners.)

If you already have a full-service planner, that’s fantastic—you’re on the right track! If not, I’d be happy to refer you to a few incredibly skilled planners who can bring your vision to life while ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience for both of us leading up to and throughout your wedding day.

Weddings are one-of-a-kind celebrations filled with thoughtful details, emotional moments, and carefully curated timelines. Without a professional planner, my team and I have often found ourselves managing logistics outside our role—taking away from our ability to focus on what we do best: capturing the magic, emotion, and artistry of your wedding.

An experienced planner not only executes your vision but elevates it—bringing expertise, refinement, and effortless coordination so that you, your guests, and your entire vendor team can truly immerse in the joy of the day. Q. When will you send us our photos, AND how many will we receive?

You’ll receive a same-day sneak peek and a robust 50+ image preview within a few days of your wedding. Then, 7–8 weeks later, your full gallery of professionally edited images will be delivered. (Please note that additional time may be required for film images or other special circumstances.)

On average, I capture 70–100 images per hour of shooting, but there is no set limit—the final number of images you receive will be a reflection of your unique celebration.

Once your gallery is delivered, if you choose to showcase your images in print, I will personally guide you through a custom heirloom album design and offer fine art prints to adorn your home—ensuring your memories are preserved as timeless works of art.

Rather than a shot list, I encourage you to trust fully in my vision and allow me to document your wedding with artistry and intuition. Before the big day, we’ll discuss any special preferences so I can ensure your most meaningful moments are captured beautifully.

The only list I’ll request is for family formal portraits—so we can efficiently capture those important groupings.

Should an unforeseen emergency arise, you would be entrusted to a replacement photographer of equal caliber and style—hand-selected from my trusted team of professionals. My goal is always to provide a seamless experience, so you can rest assured that your wedding will be captured with the same level of artistry, intention, and excellence.

Q. What if it rains on our day?

As part of my preparation process, I work closely with your planner to develop a strategic rain plan—ensuring that, no matter the weather, your wedding is documented beautifully.

My team consists of seasoned professionals who have navigated everything from light drizzles to full-blown hurricanes with grace and adaptability. With careful planning and creative flexibility, we are always ready to pivot and make adjustments so that your day unfolds effortlessly, no matter what surprises nature may bring.

Q. Do you travel within the US?

Absolutely! We specialize in luxury and ultra-luxury weddings across the East Coast and beyond, and we love the adventure of traveling for our couples.

Many of the weddings and pre-wedding portrait sessions we photograph take place in Washington, D.C. (our home base), Virginia, Maryland, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, Boston, and the Manhattan area. NYC holds a special place in my heart—it’s just a quick train ride from D.C. and serves as a second home for me, creatively and personally.

Beyond the East Coast, my team has had the privilege of capturing weddings from Hawaii to Miami, and we would love to document your love story wherever you choose to say, “I do.”

Yes, though we carefully limit our availability to 1–2 destination weddings per year to ensure the highest level of service and artistry for our couples.

Global destinations and diverse cultures are a constant source of inspiration for us as artists. My team and I have had the honor of photographing love stories in some of the most romantic and storied locations across Europe, including France, Italy, Germany, and the UK. We truly cherish the opportunity to capture weddings in places that hold deep significance for our couples, turning these extraordinary settings into part of their visual legacy.

If you are considering an international wedding, please note that all travel outside of the U.S. must be booked at least 7 months in advance to ensure seamless coordination.

Each Ambre Nuit collection is thoughtfully customized to suit your unique vision. After an initial consultation, I will provide tailored recommendations to craft an exquisite and seamless photography experience for your celebration.

Wedding collections begin at $6,000 for 8 hours of consecutive coverage, with most couples investing around $10,000 to include additional hours or heirloom fine art products.

For those seeking the full Ambre Nuit experience, I offer multi-day coverage and unlimited same-day coverage options, available at the time of booking. Additional coverage and heirloom products can be added at signing or later, ensuring complete flexibility as your plans unfold.

Q. How do we reserve our date(s) on your calendar?

To begin, simply inquire via my contact form to check availability.

To officially secure your date(s), I will send you a contract for signature along with an invoice for the initial deposit (1/3 of the total contract value). Once both are received, your date is reserved exclusively for you.
