With the city’s iconic landmarks as a backdrop, we told their love story at the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials — setting the scene for their DC wedding to come.

Originally from Maryland and Pennsylvania, Madeline and Matthew unknowingly set the stage for their love story when they each moved to Boston for work after college. They met on the job and first connected during a training trip to San Francisco—strolling among the Redwoods, savoring wine in Napa and Sonoma, and singing their hearts out at a karaoke bar.

Over the years, they built a life together in Boston, cherishing date nights, weekend getaways around New England, and exploring the city’s rich history. One unforgettable day, Matthew orchestrated the perfect surprise—proposing to Madeline on the iconic Acorn Street in Beacon Hill. Every detail was meticulously planned, from the heartfelt question to a celebratory dinner with champagne at Sorellina, one of Back Bay’s premier Italian restaurants. As the night unfolded, Matthew revealed yet another surprise: an engagement party with their closest friends to keep the celebrations going.

During their engagement, Madeline and Matthew relocated to Washington, DC, and envisioned their Save the Date photos capturing the beauty of their new home. Surrounded by the grandeur of the monuments, we captured moments that told the story of their love — marking the beginning of their next chapter together.

“Anna and her team were absolutely fabulous to work with!

She captured our love story and details perfectly. Look no further and hire this team to knock it out of the park.

IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOUR KIND OF CELEBRATION...

Your story deserves
to be remembered.

Not just how it looked. How it felt.

The best photographs don't happen because every detail is perfect.

They happen because you're fully present—laughing with your closest friends, hugging your grandparents, wiping away happy tears during your vows, and forgetting there's even a camera nearby.

If you care more about being present than performing for the camera, I think we'll get along beautifully.

Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a multi-day wedding weekend, my goal is to create photographs that bring you back to those moments for years to come—images that feel honest, enduring, and unmistakably yours.

Because beautiful photographs matter. But remembering how it all felt matters even more.
